The Captive Radiology Staffing Model

Identifying and creating a successful staffing model is just as crucial as choosing the correct medical imaging equipment for your project. There is no more important part of developing a robust and long-term partnership than having the right team.

"Recruitment and staffing are one of the core functions of a Human Resource department. It's a multi-step process that involves everything from identifying, screening, interviewing, selecting, hiring, and onboarding employees. Finding the right fit helps ensure a more adhesive hire into our company. In addition, it builds on the longevity of our workforce at Captive Radiology," Marcy Minocchi, Director of Administrative Services/Human Resources, stated.

We have created a multi-step process for hiring staff to serve each partnership. This critical process includes:

  • Competency reviews

  • Telephone screening

  • In-person interviews with Captive and our partner's leadership team

  • Required background and reference checks.

Captive Radiology makes an effort to build relationships with our staff and support their needs continuously as they enter our partner's facility. In addition, we consult with our partners and select individuals who fulfill the specific requirements of their facility.

We employ the team members but share in managing the staff. We strive to follow our partners' expectations and policies regarding staff. From orientation to a communication policy to the color of scrubs worn on a particular day of the week, the new Captive employee will be an integral part of our partner's existing team.
